If you get a wig that does not work for you, exchange it easily at WigSalon and there are no restock fees!

WigSalon has been online since 1996 and our wig experts are the most experienced in the world.

Note: You are responsible for getting your package back to us. Once your package tracks by a reliable carrier as delivered to us, not to worry, WigSalon considers it as delivered.

PRODUCTS ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE OR RETURN

We will accept requests for returns on all eligible products where the product or packaging has not been altered, worn, or damaged no later than 7 days after you receive your product(s).

Sale wigs, wig care products and accessories, wigs already exchanged by the buyer, and purchases under $39.95 are not returnable.

When returning your item, you may choose from these options:

    • Store Credit - Makes your next purchase easy.  Store credits do not expire. When using a store credit please place your order with one of our wig experts.

    • Refund- Eligible returns can receive a refund to your original payment method – less all shipping costs associated with your order. Card refunds carry a 10% to 15% restock fee if not exchanged.
    • Exclusions- Restocking fees are waived for exchanges. Human Hair wigs may incur a $25.00 restocking fee. When opting for store credit the human hair restock fee may be waived.
  • Raquel Welch and Gabor now charge a $20 restock fee for exchanges on monofilament wigs. WigSalon may waive this for you for an exchnage.
  • Henry Margu wigs are same brand exchange only for no RS fee. We are able to exchange for other brands - same value or more, but the RS still applies on Henry Margu. 

Refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days from receiving your return.

You will get an emailed notification from WigSalon when credited. Please note: your bank may have a delay in processing your credit back to your account.

Fee-free returns authorizations are issued if requested within 7 days from the date you receive your products. 

Fee-free does not mean free of actual shipping costs. Actual shipping costs will be assessed on initial order and exchange order. Zero handling fees are added. Exchanges are final. 

WigSalon and our wig makers retain the sole discretion to accept or reject a return or exchange request made outside of the 7-day free window.

Products Eligible for Return:

  • In original factory condition (unaltered, unworn, undamaged, containing no odor or signs of wear or styling product).
  • Must have tags attached and in original packaging.
  • Requests must be made within 7 days of receipt of package.
  • Clearance/Sale wigs are exchange only. Costume wigs and Henry Margu wigs are exchnage only.
  • A store credit will be issued once returned. To use a store credit please speak to one of our licensed wig experts to place your new order.

Ineligible Products:

  • Worn items or items containing any signs of wear including odor or styling product.
  • Damaged packaging or product, 50% OFF sale wigs, discontinued wigs, closeout priced wigs, price-matched and last call items.
  • Wig care products, liquids and accessories.
  • Costume and fantasy wigs. Wigs under $50.00
  • Products already exchanged by the buyer. Exchanges are final unless the wig maker deems a product was defective, in which case they will make it right.
  • All items purchased in our Manhattan Beach Outlet Salon are final sale (not valid for return, store credit, or exchange).
  • Items that are special ordered (in Salon) must be picked up within 14 days (10 business days).  Special order wigs and custom made wigs are nor returnable. Deposits for special order wigs refundable once work begins.

PayPal Transaction Fees and Bank Charges

As of MAY 2019, PAYPAL stopped refunding 3.5% transaction fees on transactions, if a refund is requested or an order is cancelled. WigSalon will only refund 3.5% PayPal fees if we are not able to ship the wig ordered within two weeks of order date. PayPal has also instituted non-refundable dispute fees even if clients do not reach out to merchants first. Always reach out to WigSalon via email or text, so it can be memorialized. We will always resolve disputes more than fairly. If clients do not contact us before contacting PayPal, and PayPal or a bank charges us a dispute fee, it may not be refunded.

Changes to and Cancellation of Orders

All order cancellations or modifications must be requested within 2 hours of the order being placed. A 15% cancellation charge will apply to cancellations after that time frame. WigSalon.com begins processing orders quickly in order to ship as soon as possible. Once your order’s status has been set to “shipped” to us we can no longer make any changes. Email [email protected] to inform us of any changes or order cancellations or text 888 TEXT WIG. 

Most items are special ordered - barnd new - from the wig manufacturer to fulfill your order. Our wig manufacturers do not allow us to return these items back to them or change orders without a fee. Costs associated with your order, including advertsing click costs, understandably cannot be refunded. To minimize these costs and maintain our standard of excellent prices and speed of orders, a 15% cancellation fee remains. That fee is waived if we exchange. 

Packages that are refused will also be subject to a 15% restocking fee and any applicable shipping charges. Undeliverable packages will be subject to reshipping charges.
