Exchanges & Returns
WigSalon’s goal has always been your satisfaction with our beautiful wigs.
If you receive a wig that does not work for you, we are happy to help with an eligible exchange or return. Eligible exchanges may be made without a WigSalon restocking fee, subject to the exclusions and brand-specific policies below.
WigSalon has been online since 1996, and our wig experts bring decades of experience helping clients find the right style, color, and fit.

Before Sending Anything Back
Please complete our exchange/return form within 10 days of receiving your package.
After you notify WigSalon of the item you wish to exchange or return, we will email you an RA number. Please wait for your RA number before sending your package back.
You are responsible for returning the package. Please use a reliable carrier and keep your tracking number. Once your package tracks as delivered, WigSalon considers it received.

Products Eligible for Exchange or Return
We accept exchange/return requests for eligible wigs and hair products when the item is returned in original factory condition.
To qualify, the wig or hairpiece must be:
- Unworn
- Unaltered
- Unbrushed
- Undamaged
- Free of smoke, perfume, styling products, or any scent
- Returned with all tags attached
- Returned in the original packaging
- Requested for return/exchange within 10 days of delivery
You may briefly try the wig on over clean, unscented hair with the tags still attached.
Wigs are personal items, similar to intimate apparel. They must be returned in new, resalable condition. Returned items may be inspected by WigSalon and/or the manufacturer. If the manufacturer determines that an item has been worn, altered, damaged, scented, brushed, or otherwise made unsalable, their decision is final.
We have a very high acceptance rate with our manufacturers because our clients generally follow these guidelines carefully.
Items Not Eligible for Refund
The following items are not eligible for refund:
- Wig care products, liquids, and accessories
- Wigs already exchanged by the buyer
- Purchases under $49.95
- Costume and fantasy wigs
- Special order wigs
- Custom-made wigs
- Deposits for special order wigs
- Worn, altered, scented, brushed, styled, or damaged items
- Items with damaged packaging
- Products marked discontinued, close-out, last call, or price-matched
- Products that are refused or returned without following RA instructions
Clearance, sale, overstock, close-out, and last-call wigs may be exchange-only or final sale depending on the item and brand.
Return Options
When returning an eligible item, you may choose one of the following options:
Store Credit
Store credit makes your next purchase easy and does not expire.
There is no restocking fee when you choose store credit on an eligible return. On the return form, indicate that you would like STORE CREDIT.

Refunds
Eligible returns may be refunded to your original payment method, less actual shipping and handling costs associated with your order and any applicable fees.
Credit card refunds on returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee if the item is not exchanged or taken as store credit.
When store credit is chosen, the human hair restocking fee may be waived at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Shipping & Handling on Exchanges and Returns
Although our checkout may show a shipping and handling charge of $9.95 on orders that are kept, that amount does not always reflect the true cost of shipping and handling.
Actual standard shipping and handling costs are often in the range of $15.95 to $26.95, depending on the brand and destination.
For exchanges, WigSalon will not charge a restocking fee on eligible items, but the exchange order will require a new shipping charge, generally in the range of $15.95 to $26.95 for standard shipping. Expedited shipping charges are not refundable. WigSalon does not seek to profit from shipping and handling.
Exchanges
Exchanges are final.
We strongly encourage you to contact us before choosing your exchange wig, unless you have prior experience with the wig and color. We can provide color images, style guidance, and advice based on our decades of experience.
Many clients who miss on their first order send us a photo of themselves, a Facebook link, or other style references so we can guide them more personally, just as we have done in our salon since 1996.

Brand-Specific Policies
Henry Margu and Mane Attraction wigs are no longer returnable for refund. Exchanges may be considered at WigSalon’s option.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days after we receive and accept your return.
You will receive an email notification from WigSalon when your credit has been processed.
Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the credit back to your account.
PayPal and Payment Fees
As of May 2019, PayPal stopped refunding its transaction fees when an order is refunded or cancelled. WigSalon will only refund PayPal fees if we are unable to ship the wig ordered within two weeks of the order date. PayPal transaction fees are currently not refundable by PayPal when a refund is issued.
Please always contact WigSalon first at: info@wigsalon.com before opening a dispute with PayPal or your bank.
We are very willing to work with you, especially if you are serious about finding the right wig. We want to keep you as a preferred client. PayPal and credit card companies may also charge non-refundable $15.00 dispute fees. If a client contacts PayPal or a bank before contacting WigSalon, and we are charged a dispute fee, that fee will not be refunded.
Packages that are refused will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and any applicable shipping charges once they are returned to us.
Undeliverable packages will be subject to reshipping charges.
